HMRC webinars last just one hour and cover a range of topics such as Business Expenses for the Self Employed, VAT, PAYE, Company Director Responsibilities, Importing and Exporting, Capital Allowances for the Self Employed, Shared Parental Leave, Expenses and Benefits, Constructions Industry Scheme, Property Income and much more.
You can head over to HMRC’s website to find more information on webinars and help and support. They even have a section on COVID-19, with the way things have changed recently it’s well worth checking this out.
They also provide a community forum which can be helpful if you don’t feel like waiting on hold for a while when you have a question. You never know what you can find in the forum, it’s a good starting point.
HMRC also have youtube videos, and guides you can download too. Another useful feature is their help and support email service, it’s worth popping in your email address so you are aware of changes when they happen. If you have a payroll officer or bookkeeper you might want to consider asking them to sign up for the updates too. They can sign up via the same page that is linked to above.
